WRIGHT TOWNSHIP GETS IT RIGHT

tn_clip_image004-AThe Wright Township Board of Trustees has successfully secured funding through the USDA/Rural Development/Rural Utilities Service and the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality necessary for constructing a new sanitary sewer system to serve the unincorporated hamlet of Prattville and the nearby area around Lime Lake. In addition to the funding from $3,780,000 from low-interest loans and grants from USDA, the township received a $280,000 grant from the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality’s Hardship Grant Program, which is no longer available.

This appeared to produce an even worse health threat to the residents of Gregory.
